Cloud Machine Learning Foundations Module

In this course, you will gain hands-on experience in building, training, and deploying machine learning models. You will also explore the emerging field of generative AI through practical exercises.

What you will learn:

to describe the principles and concepts of machine learning
how to implement a machine learning pipeline
how to utilize machine learning services for various applications such as forecasting, computer vision, and natural language processing
how to understand the basics of generative AI and its applications

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

design and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems
process and prepare data for machine learning tasks
evaluate and optimize machine learning models for better performance
implement machine learning solutions for real-world applications

University of Dundee are running a Cloud Machine Learning Foundations Module.

Machine learning provides the underlying framework for many advanced technological solutions, from predictive analytics to automated decision-making and artificial intelligence. Understanding these concepts will equip you with the skills needed to develop and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems.

Full funding is available for this course if you are 24 or older and live in the Tayside Cities Region (Dundee, Angus, North East Fife, Perth and Kinross) and meet one or more of the eligibility criteria: Women returning to work or advancing in work; Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals, refugees, unemployed or living with a disability.
