Our Essential Data Skills for Work Bootcamp is free of charge to residents or workers in the Tay Cities Region (Dundee, Angus, North East Fife and Perth & Kinross), particularly women, with the aim to close the gender gap in the digital technology sector.
Our 3-day Essential Data Skills for Work Bootcamp is an online tutor-led course running on Tuesday 29 October, Tuesday 5 November, and Tuesday 12 November 2024 between 11am and 3pm.
During the Bootcamp you’ll learn about:
- Understanding different types of data and how to interpret them
- A range of tools and techniques for data visualisation – including Excel
- Data protection and legalisation
- Data ethics and bias
- Understanding statistics
- And more… to equip you with foundational data science skills, and pave the way to a rewarding career or advanced learning in this field.
