3-Day Online Essential Data Skills for Work Bootcamp

Our Essential Data Skills for Work Bootcamp is free of charge to residents or workers in the Tay Cities Region (Dundee, Angus, North East Fife and Perth & Kinross), particularly women, with the aim to close the gender gap in the digital technology sector.

Our 3-day Essential Data Skills for Work Bootcamp is an online tutor-led course running on Tuesday 29 October, Tuesday 5 November, and Tuesday 12 November 2024 between 11am and 3pm.

During the Bootcamp you’ll learn about:

• Understanding different types of data and how to interpret them
• A range of tools and techniques for data visualisation – including Excel
• Data protection and legalisation
• Data ethics and bias
• Understanding statistics
• And more… to equip you with foundational data science skills, and pave the way to a rewarding career or advanced learning in this field.
