Up to £10,000 is now available for tech training providers and Further and Higher education institutions to offer new data skills courses.
Funding to help workers adapt to the demands of increasingly digitalised, automated and data-driven workplaces is being continued in the Tay Cities region. The Data Lab and the Tay Cities Digital Skills Project, aims to address the digital skills gap, support diversity and prepare participants for the changing world of work through its small grants scheme. There is a focus on Digital Adoption skills, Integrated Digital Skills, and Professional Digital Skills, in alignment with the Digital Skills Action Plan.
The Data Lab is pleased to announce a new round of funding aimed at supporting training providers in delivering upskilling short courses in the Tay Cities region (Angus, Dundee, North-East Fife, and Perth & Kinross). Colleges, universities, and other training providers are invited to apply for funding through the Data Skills Credits small grants scheme, which offers up to £10,000 to support the delivery of digital and data-related courses, either online or in-person.
